For example, the Durango Herald recently showed their stubborn streak.  After Amendment 49 had been endorsed by The Rocky, The Post, The GJ Sentinel, the Chieftan, the Gazette, and even the Boulder Daily Camera, the Herald editorialized AGAINST 49 and here was their explanation:

&quot;It would, however, anger the leadership and many members of some of the more active and vocal unions, who might then retaliate with ballot measures of their own.&quot;

Who&#039;s running the show here?  The people, or the union threats?  The Herald unfortunately seems to pick the latter.</description>
