You speak of 20/20 hindsite and other things that lead me to believe you have nothing but sour grapes about this election. Sorry your guys didn't win, but there comes a times when people like me are tired of what you guys are shoveling out. We now have a chance to go a new direction. Anything we do from now on will be a new direction and a voice of fresh air. I don't believe we can do any worse than the last 8 years of a man who may be just a little delousional. I did vote for Bush his first Term, but decided we were going in the wrong direction. Thanks for your aritcles, I do enjoy them from time to time. Have a great year!! The legacy of earmark spending under a Republican congress is a example of GOP governance that will stick with the party for a while, and you're right when you say, "Republicans were punished for failing to deliver on what should be our bedrock issue."
